Problem:
There are sections of the roof that do not require rigid steel railing, but should be marked off to warn others of the edge beyond.
Solution:
Using the warning line decreases overall cost of your Fall Protection System and keeps people a safe distance from the roof’s edge. Warning lines consisting of rope or wire can be erected not less than 6 feet (1.8m) from the roof edge. Kee Mark complies with all OSHA standards including, “resisting, without tipping over, a force of at least 16 pounds (71 N) applied horizontally against the stanchion.” [OSHA Code 1926.502(f)(2)(iii)].
