Your role is essential to the growth plan of the organization. This position requires a self-directed, forward thinking and energetic person who is results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through. 

The assembler is responsible for the assembly of our modular safe access platforms, stairways, walkways, gates and railing systems and preparation for shipment. Additional responsibilities include trouble shooting issues, resolving design and drawing discrepancies and assisting in manpower needs planning. 


Key Responsibilities 

· Maintain clean and safe work cell environment 

· Audit production drawings for errors

· Pull parts for assembly orders from general stock

· Assemble product per production drawings

· Package/weigh/stage/load orders for shipment

· Verify and receive incoming stock for various work cells

· Resolve technical and mechanical issues

· Assist in training on assembly of specific products

· Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within cell

· Understand and anticipate customer needs both internally and externally



Education, Experience and Skills 

· High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred, not required

· Building/assembly experience

· Ability to read/audit production drawings/schematics/blueprints

· Experience with all types of hand and power driven tools

· Active fork truck license preferred, or previous fork truck experience 

· Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and weekends, as needed

· Basic computer skill set required, especially Microsoft Office suite


Special/Particular Requirements (safety, physical, etc)

· Ability to lift 50 lbs., preferred 

· Active position with regular standing/bending/lifting/crouching
