The Agrinaut features solar powered operation, programmable tide cycles, storm scuttling, data acquisition and management. The Graphical User Interface allows the end-user to monitor barge status in real time and to issue override commands remotely, should they be needed.

The vessels are reusable, portable, and can be disassembled.
