History

This brief history shows how the group started with the invention of the Kee Klamp® structural fitting to become the world's leading supplier of structural slip-on pipe fittings operating in 5 countries with distributors in a further 28 countries. History shows that the company has been successful in expanding geographically as well as introducing innovative new products. Since 1934, the company has produced over 100 million fittings, many of which are still in use today!

Mr. George H. Gascoigne and his colleagues invent the fitting concept in Reading, England for the manufacture of milking stalls for cows

1936

Geo. H. Gascoigne Co. Ltd. set up to market Kee Klamp fittings

Company facility established in Toronto, Canada

1958

Kee Klamp fittings were exported to Germany

1958

North American sales office established in Buffalo, NY

BTR purchases Thomas Tilling and with it, Kee Klamp

Kee Klamp Ltd. moves to Worton Grange, Reading

Keenect® balustrade product is launched in the UK
TÜV approval obtained for 130 Kee Klamp fittings

1995

Kee Klamp Ltd. achieves Investors in People award

1996

Management buys the Kee Klamp Group of companies from BTR

Kee Klamp Ltd. achieves ISO 9001 in the UK

Kee Klamp Ltd. opens an office in Paris, France

Kee Industrial Products changes name to "Kee Safety, Inc"
KEE STAINLESS launched in the UK
Kee Safety acquires Dunn & Cowe Ltd, a leading UK supplier of fall arrest anchor devices
