Kee Safety has just been
awarded two major projects in the Middle East to install aluminium hand railing
at two water treatment plants under development in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Each plant
requires in excess of 5,000 metres of hand rail to be constructed using Kee
Lite® fittings and tube to ensure the safety of workers in various areas of the
plants.
These two plants represent the
latest in a series of water industry projects gained by Kee Safety FZE, the
Dubai based subsidiary of Kee Safety. Using fittings to construct rails rather
than fabrication has proved extremely popular; particularly as no welding is
required and there is flexibility to accommodate small on site variations
during installation. Likewise, Kee Lite® fittings require no threading or
bolting and can be installed using nothing more complicated than a ratchet.
Kee Safety has been trading in
the UAE for three years and has established links across the region with major
contractors and government agencies. Increasingly, Kee Safety products are
being specified on major construction projects within the UAE and further
afield across the GCC.
